Cisco has two types of sfp+: Enterprise versions and non-enterprise versions. The NON-enterprise version is quite a lot more expensive, but also suited for FCoE, where as the enterprise version is Not suited for FCoE. Sounds counter-intuitive, but that’s the way it is. My question: does this tranceiver replace only the enterprise version, or also the non-enterprise version?

I have ever been told that the Cisco SFP-10G-SR modules can replace both of the enterprise version and non-enterprise version.
