I'm using this with a Kingwin NVMe 5.25" hot-swap bay and an ASRock Rack ALTRAD8UD-1L2T. At first, the cables didn't securely connect to the back of the Kingwin, but with some work with some side-cutters in trimming down the plastic sheath around the connector, I was able to get everything working correctly. The drives (Micron 7450 PROs) are all linked up at PCIe Gen 4 x4 speeds (16GT/s), which tells me that these cables work just fine.
